2006 xc90 sliding out of drivers seat

Has anyone ever felt like they are sliding out of the the driver seat? I feel like I'm constantly having push myself upright, especially on long drives.

Might see how much front lift you get out of the seat adjustment and have a look at the seat front to back height adjustment range from outside the vehicle. You should be able to take the seat down to completely flat then lift front and back sort of separately as you adjust up. Lumbar adjust on the inboard side of the seat back might be pushing you forward, could try completely loosening.
Having said that, I still occasionally find myself slouching forward in the Ocean Race (regular) seats. I feel like to some degree it's lack of a front seat bolster (above and beyond adjustment range). The Sport/RD seat has a higher front seat edge bolster as well as more pronounced side bolsters, fit is very different and you don't slide at all.
If this vehicle is new to you, might be good to see if any cabling is dragging or something electrical or mechanical is preventing the full operation of the seat. As this is a 2005, I can imagine the side seat plastic cover has been replaced more than once, and it's easy not to put all the tie -wraps back in the same spots. Last but not least, if the passenger side has electric adjust, maybe compare the two. They'll be opposite side identical I think.

During Christmas we tried this cleaning method on the seats of the 09 S60 2.5T AWD. The leather looks more natural now and we will probably use Aerospace 303 or a leather couch conditioner rather than anything oily. Will help with the sliding especially if the seats are nice and shiny looking now.
