1999 S70 T5 preload suspension

So I am in the process of adding lowering springs and I have preloaded the front control arms when I installed the fronts, but with the rear is it also necessary? If so, how? Is it just loosen the trailing arm bolt and tighten on the ground? Or is there more to it?
