Need help with ABS Tone Ring part - 04 V70R Manual Topic is solved

My son's '04 V70R M66 threw front-left ABS codes BCM-0011 and BCM-0012. I diagnosed a cracked/broken tone ring (and the speed sensor physically worn on the bottom). The tone ring is pressed onto the outer CV joint, and I will not be buying an entire CV axle just to get a tone ring. Vida shows it as a separate part #30735955. But most of the parts sites I am looking at either show this will not fit, or they have no fitment data at all. (and I don't trust any site that doesn't allow you to enter the 'R' model).

For example, FCPEuro shows it fits 2005 V70R but not 2004, 2006, or 2007 (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... 55#fitment). That seems really odd to me.

So my questions are:

• Any way to confirm fitment, or should I just go for it and take the risk?

• Any experience with aftermarket rings? $60-70 for OEM seems steep

Solved my own problem. Went out and took the old one off, since it wasn't doing anything anyway.

For posterity, it's 48-tooth, 72mm ID, 81.5mm OD. Febi Bilstein 100751 fits the bill, and cross-references to Volvo OEM part 30735955.
