RE: P2 wagon Jewel taillights

Blacklab recently mentioned fitting a set of later 'jewel' taillights to his 03 XC70. He has asked if I could list the part numbers in case anyone else was interested in the swap.

Weirdly (well not for Volvo) the uppers and lowers are listed for different chassis number ranges??!

Anyway, here you are, but note Volvo has no part number stamped or molded on the parts relating to these part numbers:

Uppers: From chassis number 173000 (XC70), FC21 459096 - ; FC22 459386 -

LH rear - 30655374

RH rear - 30655375

Lowers: From chassis number 173074 (XC70), FC21 459096 - ; FC22 459386 -

LH rear - 30655379

RH rear - 30655377

Hope this helps. As a guide, they were fitted to 05-07 V/XC 70's. The other chassis references I'm guessing are V70, but no idea what chassis FC21 and FC22 mean. However, I have just found this and 'borrowed' it from another website which clarifies that:

1 = [Sweden] Torslanda Plant VCT 21(Volvo Torslandaverken) (Gothenburg)
2 = [Belgium] Ghent Plant VCG 22

The old style 2003 tail light part numbers are as follows:

Uppers:
Left 9154493
Right 9154494

Lowers:
Left 9154497
Right: 9154498

I need to add the part number for the plastic clips for the 2 side panels. Need to look that up.

Oh, and this is a better price for those clips, x 4 each side so potentially you'll need up to 8.
