I'm a right leg amputee.
I'm working through moving the accelerator pedal in my S70 to the left side. I want to bolt a mount for the accelerator pedal to the floor under the carpet. The Haynes manual says just release the trims around the edges and lift, but there is a footrest on the left side that will not move (see linked photo). I've tried to pry it up both between the footrest and the carpet and under the carpet and it seems to be bonded through the sound deadening.
Can anyone tell me how to free this so that I can lift the carpet?
Peter.
