C70 Seats into a V70

Greetings y'all. I have been trying to find any definitive answer to this question.
"Is it possible to put C70 front seats into a V70?" (Specifically a P80 V70)

The answers seem to vary from yes, with some modification, to maybe, to no. It seems that the seats would physically fit, but the rails may be different sizes, so one would have to use the longer C70 rails, but it is unknown if they will bolt in directly or would require drilling new holes. The other problem is the C70 has a seat belt rail to move the seat belt for getting into the back seats. Here the question is can some part of the V70 seat be used to bolt on the seat belt where it ought to go. I have a source of some lovely C70 seats, and I have been wanting to add a power passenger seat to my car. Any help on this would be greatly and cheerfully accepted.

Might be an airbag issue, Dr. Abscate may be able to add to the discussion.

The P80 C70 never Got the sensor fired SIPS bags, it uses the mechanical trigger through 2004

The c70 seats and bags are different, not sure in the rails. The seat bottoms are different.

So, then with the mechanical seat firing, not sure if the seats would fit in a 99- car due to the difference in the way the airbags fire. -98 might work as they have the mechanical firing of the airbag.

Only real way to know about the rails is to measure the distance between the 4 corners and see if they are the same front to back and side to side.
