Hoping I can get some direction here. Got a 2011 Automatic C30 with 122k miles on it and I can feel shaking in the floor on drivers side when beginning accelerating. I just had an alignment and that did not fix the issue and I also have new tires on the vehicle. I am suspecting it is a motor mount but I don't want to buy all mounts at once if I don't have to. Does anyone suggest which one to begin with. Maybe the one under the battery or the one under the car in the center?
None of them look terrible from afar but I am not sure what else it could be. When at highway speeds the car drives super smooth. Only at take off is it vibrating in the floor a bit. Please help.
Also, not ruling out the possibility of a suspension component or cv joint but vibration is mild in the steering wheel and pedals but prominent in the actual floor boards

Our 2008 C30 Cosmic White Java two toner 2.0 T5 M66 has been parked for quite sometime due to that vibration except on the passenger side. Changed both axles and redid the control arms with Poly and new ball joint improved it. Still makes noise and a little vibration. Though I have strut mounts and bearings ready to install, Son thinks it's the CV as the new CV is not an OE Volvo part. We know we need a clutch also but don't think that's it.
There is a possibility of the bearing coming out of the hub. Have two of those also not installed. I think you'll find the answer before me but the center mount is the one that people replace the most.

I think I may try the brace. Do I need two? Do I also need two new hubs? New to this. I have replaced all motor mounts and cv shafts and no success on eliminating the vibration so far. Thx again

At 14 years and 100k+ miles I’d change all the motor mounts, otherwise a poor mount will put more strain on the new one.

Thanks for the reply. I did replace all 4 mounts and both front axles and still have the vibration in the floor. My next plan is to do front struts, sway bar links, and possibly the wheel hubs. Not sure what else is left... I did a 4 wheel alignment recently but did not balance and rotate the tires. I just can't seem to figure this vibration out. Only happens on initial and heavy acceleration. I am suspicious that the strut mounts are bad but not sure and local car shop said they were good. Thanks for the insight

When the time comes I'll be looking at the passenger wheel bearing on our 08 C30 T5 M66. Ours started all of a sudden and the suspension in general looks good and there were no odd tire wear. With new tires and the control arms rebuilt with poly bushing besides new ball joints the violent wheel hopping vibration has subsided mostly but now it's noise with some wheel hopping type of vibration.
I've researched this problem and a few with the P1 chassis have experienced this but no one had came up with a root cause.

So I did just get wheel bearings replaced in the front. Replaced both cv axles. Replaced all 4 motor mounts, Replaced complete strut assemblies, Replaced sway bar links and I had a rear tire that had dry rot and some cupping that I replaced. Seemed to help with the vibration but in doing all of this I noticed my transmission seal was leaking so I replaced that on the passenger right side and I think my replacement seal is also leaking. Fun times.

So did it eliminate the vibration or seemed to help meaning: you still feel some or slight vibration whether intermittent or from a fast start?

Replace passenger and driver side motor mounts and the lower torque mount.
This is mine with the Powerflex poly insert. 70 duro
It is located directly under the battery. This is my passenger side mount also with Powerflex poly insert 70 duro This is my lower torque mount. It is the Elevate billet mount with their race insert and Powerflex poly on the torque arm. If any of these three are worn, or haven't been replaced you will get drivetrain vibration. Especially the lower torque mount.

I'm getting same problem on my 2012 C30 T5 after changing both CV axles, mechanich told me because not original but i dont believe it, i see the engine shaking a lot when under revs, i wanna start to change the lower mount first hoping the engine mounts are still ok
