2007 C70 T5 Lower Intake Manifold Question

Post by FrankMcGar »

Hello fellow travelers,

First time posting here. I'm trying to remove the lower intake manifold (replacing gasket) and I'm not sure what this hard line is (see pic below). It looks like it connects to compressor housing (blow off valve?) but it's kind of hard to see back there. Also, when I reinstall manifold, do I need to use similar crimp-style clamps to reattach this line? Or can I get away with the regular hose clamps? Thanks for any help.

That wraps around the passenger side of the block and goes to the turbo check valve.

Thanks mate, much appreciated. I figured that's what it was but wanted to confirm. Cheers.
