2018 xc90 t5 with 110k miles. Seems like it fell apart suddenly. It became sluggish, then a day or three later, the light came on and it was hard to start after refueling.
P04f0, p0441 p0455(eval codes) came up as did p0171 and p0172(lean and rich) codes all at the same time…shown by my usb reader.
Smoke test revealed a huge leak in the air tube behind the engine, like the softer section had melted, separating from the hard section…I replaced it and all the codes and issues after refueling persisted.
Today I replaced the purge valve, now the refueling issue is gone, the eval codes are inactive, but the light came back on with code p0171.
Any advice on how to proceed?
I’ve planned on buying a better scan setup. Where is a good source? Is VIDA the way to go?

According to your description, there should be a high possibility of air leakage in the intake system. You can use VDASH or VIDA for diagnosis.

Apparently our motors tend to work the exhaust manifold loose, based on some of my searches down the rabbit hole of misfires and noises. If your intake manifold melted I'd be concerned that it will continue to melt. The leaky exhaust manifold will throw codes if exhaust gets out into atmosphere before it hits your O2 sensors.
