Suggestions for security wheel lugs 850

I recently lost a wheel from my 93 850 and would like to prevent further losses. Does anyone have personal experience with the locking type lugs?

Did the wheel fall off or was it stolen? If stolen, that is a pretty rare event these days, especially on older cars. First thing I do if I buy a car with locking nuts is to replace them with regular. Up here rust is an issue with locking wheel nuts along with people loosing the removal tool.

If you decide to go this route, see if you can buy a spare removal tool as the one supplied will break at some point.
