.
(EDIT) I thought there were 4 washers but IPD indicates only 2 per subframe.

Did you install all 4? If not yet installed perhaps you can check with IPD to see if only 2 is needed or only 2 should be installed?

Per MVS member YV1LW of the pictorial: "the o-ring is placed between the sub-frame and the main frame."

This is how I tamed the thud noise caused by subframe rear bushings ,mine are still in good shape. I bought 12”x12”x1/4” silicone rubber sheet.(I wish they had 3/8” thick). I used hole cutter saw from HFT,first I cut 4” dia.OD,then 2” dia. ID,made 2 rubber washers. Raise front end up position jack stands at front bushing bolts, remove the wheels,I use my electric scissors jack to hold rear subframe cross member ,removed rear subframe holder brackets small bolts, then remove the big subframe bolts with air impact driver, lower subframe a little bit ,on right hand side and Insert the rubber washer then install big bolt with brackets leave the bolt loose,On the left a little tricky because there is a tube in the way, remove the jack, used pry bar to push down subframe further so I can insert the next rubber washer and re install everything back, test drive and it’s a lot quieter, almost 6 years ago til now thud sound almost non exist,
hope this helps…
