non tinted widows

New here, hello. I've had Volvo wagons for decades and now am compelled to shop for an SUV. Never owned one before as it's a form of vehicle that I don't care for. I'll be looking at first gen xc90's but of course, they come with 'security tinting'. I imagine in other markets around the world during it's production, maybe tinting wasn't allowed so there exists clear rear and side windows. I've seen pictures of xc90's with clear glass all around. Where and how can I get them? Thank you.

Careful with this thread title, seems offensive lol.

eBay is likely your best bet, or an auto glass shop. I can say my kids 05 XC90 glass is not overly dark—IMO not worth the money to change it and it would get hotter than Hades inside too.

My ‘94 850 had them and I razor-bladed them off. My ‘04 wagon has them and it’s in the glass - frustrating, but I’ll live with it.

Thanks @Kron, I understand your concern about the heat and it's not summer all year round, that can be solved with window shades than can be removed on non-sunny days or driving at night. I don't drive at night with sunglasses on so same for my windows. I could probably scrounge around European parts suppliers on my own I guess, but was looking for insight here. It's worth it to me.
