Help identify unknown drooping wire for 1996 850 Turbo Sedan Topic is solved

Hi all, was hoping somebody could help identify the cable that is drooping and if I can just zip tie it since it appears to be held by only one clip on the right passenger side
Located at the bottom front of the car with pictures to help
It’s the black cable I have held with my finger in one of the photos

That looks like evap line running back to the fuel tank. It needs to be zip tied and chafe relieved so it doesn’t get a hole in it.

Thank you for the identification, Forgot to mention there seems to be a corroded part, thoughts on this?

I would take a short length of heater hose, split it and put it over that plastic hose before that one breaks.
I imagine that you could also cut that bad section out and replace with a piece of rubber hose, though it might need to be fuel rated.

That doesn't look corroded. It looks like it got over-sprayed with some undercoating, or the like, and has collected dirt on it over time. Kind of like half of the other stuff I see in the pics under the car.

Soak a small patch of rag with WD-40 and rub the pipe with it and see if the undercoat comes off. If it does you know not to worry about it!
