New member needs to part with 262c Bertone

Hello. I just joined this community, which honestly I had not heard about previously. I have owned 4 Volvos in my lifetime (3 of them relevant to this sub-forum), but now I have just one, and I'm about to put it up for sale.

My first was a 1989 245 DL, manual transmission. Bought it in 1998 and used it to move from San Francisco to New York and back (great car for a road trip with a lot of stuff)!. Later I bought a manual '88 244 sedan and in 2004 I also bought a 1978 262c Bertone - silver with a black vinyl top--4 speed manual with an overdrive switch. The 245 was sold many years ago and the 244 was given in partial trade for the 262c, which has unfortunately not gotten any road time in the past 9 years. Now I am moving and have decided it's time to pass the Bertone on to someone who can give it a fresh life.

More recently I had a 2016 XC90 T8, but I recently traded that in for a 2024 Audi A6 Allroad. The Audi is a great car, but in my heart I am more of a Volvo guy and look forward to seeing how the offerings evolve in the future and will not rule out a vintage Volvo again in the future.
