The fun never ends: CODE 614B...what do I do?

2006 xc70 170K. CEL went on. My scanner says: 614B Camshaft Control, Exhaust, Faulty. I cleared the code, drove 170 miles, CEL went on with same code. I did some 'googling' to find these possibilities:
Low oil pressure
Poor oil quality
Damaged reset valve
Mechanical fault in the variable valve timing (VVT) unit.
The oil is spot on, recent change about 1K ago. Mobil 1 as usual. How would I check the other factors? I am a DIY-er....I can fix most anything IF I KNOW WHAT IS WRONG! Any input?

What oil viscosity are you using?

What values shows up for camshaft if you can look them?

Exhaust side camshaft solenoid may be gummed up. You can take it apart and attempt cleaning it, most just replace it.

vida can run a solenoid reaction test, if it reacts slow to throttle commands look to the oil pressure,
new oil and filter fixed mine.
