[S80 T6 2.9 2002] Engine dies randomly when driving down the hill.

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

[S80 T6 2.9 2002] Engine dies randomly when driving down the hill.

Post by Celovnik »

Hi. I'm new here. I hope you will be able to help me cuz I have no patience anymore... My car randomly dies when driving down the hill. It happens much more often when there are potholes or other obstacles on the road and car just wobbles on it. Also it is really hard to start engine when i leave it for some times front downhill. Sometimes it happens every day for an week and then it stops for a month and again... I have no idea what can It be.
Vida doesn't help at all :/

Just how much slope is your hill and parking spot? Do you keep the fuel tank full all the time?

Just a little bit is enough for starting up problems.
This is bifuel, now I have about 3/4 petrol and about 1/4 LPG.
I red about this and somebody had similar issue. It turned out to be crack in intake pipe Intercoole->throttle body. I will check this. I'm not sure if I can buy this pipe if it's broken :/
But... I don't know what's the connection between cracked pipe and slope...
