Agreed. For 20 minutes cars just waited, or turned down side streets. Some parked and turned ignition off in situ.
Telluride is at another level altogether. A true high trust society. We were there today, and I stayed there for a few days in 2018. Over half of the bicycles are not locked, some are even electric, yes I counted. A few dogs off leash. No police around. That's just life there.

Oh, and to make this thread rule-compatible, here's a S90 luxe-o-cruiser in Durango yesterday. It looked excellent in person.
Pretty rare in Colorado, because if you're going to spend that much, might as well go to an XC90 SPA, right?
