Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) issue

Hi Guys,

I need your help. My Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) module has completely failed, and I have a question: do you know what the letter code at the end of the serial number means? I need the BB version, but I can't find a spare part, or it's available at a horrible price, like 300 EUR/USD. However, I have found many other variants, like BC, CC, CF... etc. I think this is about the year of the model, but those are much cheaper, around 25 EUR. My question is, will it work for me? I have a 2007 XC70 P3 D5 diesel.
