For my 2000 S70 GLT SE. Fibi-Bilstein made in China from FCP. The original part I'm replacing is much stiffer.

I received a set of front rotors from FCP all scratch up with dings and pits from presumably falling out of the the box but not during shipping. Sent them photos and didn't have to ship it back whereas I had to return a defective coolant tank that broke during installation. They are good about warranty especially a defective part sent. I would go with a Hutchinson on the replacement.

I just replaced the lower torque mount on our son's 06 XC70 with a Hutchison mount. It had slightly better sideways retention than that but not much. The thing is designed to pull straight forward or back not side to side. How does it fair in that case?

You can rebuild your original one for about $5, and it will be more solid than the original. Small Dorman bushing kit at local auto parts stores has what you need. I’ve done it on three different cars - all working well still.
See the post 1/02/2012 in this thread; it’s where I got the idea (user “howardC64). About 1/2 way down the thread:

Great link but tough read. Here are some of the info.
Dorman 31017 Shock Absorber And Sway Bar Bushing Assortment, 3 Pack - This about the same price as the Dorman 31012 2 Pack. With current $1.04 coupon, may as well have an extra bushing for a few pennies.

Looks like the original bushing was one piece that sheired in half and the replacement is two parts?
