Going to replace my battery in my 2013 xc60. I have replaced many but on this vehicle it states that I may need to use a scan tool to reset?
Any advice on this procedure would be appreciated.

There is a non-scanner method for resetting the BMS on P3 cars. Have do a bit of a button based voodoo.
1. Switch on ignition (do not start engine)
2. Switch on dipped beam
3. Press the rear fog light button six times (on-off-on-off-on-off)
4. Press the hazard lights button three times (on-off-on)
5. The battery symbol on the dash should flash quickly three times.
Have used this myself on a 2015 S60 and it appears to work.
