Hi all,
I am trying to disable the annoying alarm for the seatbelt in my XC90 2005.
I do a lot of short movements through my neighborhood, where the belt is not needed.
I have the Vida Dice 2014D and I am able to connect the car and going to Vehicle Communication - DIM - Advanced - Click on the Disabel belt alarm - Click on the icon VCT 2000 - Change the value and Start Programming.
Afteer doing that the value changes to Off, but I still have the same annoying alarm.
Am I doing something wrong?
Cheers,
Carlos

** Forget my last response, didn't fully read your concern.
If you cannot get the alarm to suppress, the piezo alarm is on the DIM and you could stick something in to make it quiet. You trying this with engine running? Could try POSII ignition but not starting, some configuration changes want that versus engine running.
That's all I got, sorry for the churn...
