1996 850 (Base) Brake Booster Topic is solved

Hello,

I am hoping to find some guidance.

I have been searching high and low for a new or reman brake booster. All car parts retailers I've hit offer a reman from Cardone but everyone is "out of stock". I finally found a link to "Volvo OEM Parts Online" https://volvo.oempartsonline.com/oem-pa ... er-9140236. And although it indicates in the latter that, "...we guarantee your Brake Booster will perfectly fit your 1994-1996 Volvo 850 vehicle.." in the table above this statement it only lists the 1996 Volvo 850 GLT. The engine listed is the same as mine.

It is probably a dumb question but will this brake booster fit my Base model though "GLT" is listed but not "Base"?

Yes, the GLT and BASE use the same booster
