What goes into this valve cover hole?

What goes into this valve cover hole?

I can't remember what goes in the tapped hole below. Right next to the vvt cams, solenoids and timing bolt. I don't think it's a plastic cover bolt?

Beyond the variable valve timing solenoids, the very edge of the head? Mine has nothing there. (04 XC70)
