Parking sensor beeping is very quite or not at all - 06 XC70

My wife is complaining that the back up sensors are not making much if any noise. Any ideas what if anything is causing this?

Bump! Anyone know where the warning beep is generated from so I can see if it can be fixed? The 'boss' wants it fixed!

This is from 2007 V70 from my coworker who hated the loud sound.. he explained little while ago to me:
(Behind) driver side (left) rear brake lamp (casing) you can find Parking Assistant Summer add trim pot adjust sound level.

So i cant personally say more details but i would something similar there or there is loose contact in these places. At least he did opposite.

There is a panel with fuses on the LHS. I'll take a look and see. Thanks for that!
