Gear selector module replacement

So a month ago my xc90 light went out on the the gear selector module / gsm / shift indicator. I was cleaning the W button with alcohol. So it wouldn't stick. Reason being my car was acting like it was in winter mode when we hadn't had it engaged. No tcm codes or any. Then gsm light goes out and i have a message on dash and codes for gsm. Meanwhile car still shows what gear it is in on dash. However winter mode and manual shift mode do not work. I replaced gsm with new module and still have trouble codes and no light. Saw it something about a fuse could be blown. But can't find anything on what fuse that might be. Please help as this car is killing my sanity
