Is there a way to do this ? Basically I have two front drivers seats; one with a good seat, and one with a good back.
I know I could switch skins, but is there an easier way ? I see two pivot bolts, but I also see a spring, which makes me stop in my tracks.
I'm thinking that someone must have dealt with this .....
Separating front seat back from seat base Topic is solved

Is it a powered seat or manual? Powered is a bit tricky, never worked on a manual seat.
It is easy enough to swap a seat skin over. Just need either zip-ties or a hog ring tool and rings. Could probably swap a base cover over in about 30 minutes or less.
Neil.

+1 on what Neil says.
The back is a little more troublesome to swap, but the lower skin is not a big deal.
I tried taking parts off a manual seat (the spring loaded shocks that helps adjust the seat height) and had to give up. They are a nightmare to take apart and worse to put back together.
