Litens belt tensioner on closeout on Rockauto

Post by 454cid »

I bought this too, only $36! Litens is supposed to be OE supplier. Unlike the picture, the pulley is the pressed steel with the seam in the middle.

This style is only for the early 850ies, if I'm not mistaken. It is in my 94 T5, but my 96R has a different tensioner.

Hopefully, it's correct for my 96 naturally aspirated 850. It was listed as such. I haven't had issues with catalog weirdness with my Volvo. On the other hand, with my Ford Focus, I have to be very careful when ordering parts. It seems to be routine to have parts listed that are not for my car.

Numbers match for my '96, at least according to FCP.
