Very useful! More of a radial engine drone than the WAH WAH WAH I remember.

And there I thought Abscate was being chased by aliens! Thanks for sharing. My car had no noise like that, but this is more like how I would expect them to behave.

Probably a driveway job for me down here in sunny Long Island, 40F
Press is ready in the garage.

SWMBOs new XC90 comes Monday, in which case I get my p2 back and the job can move forward

Why do you need a press for the wheel bearing? I don't recall the need for one doing the 02 XC70 recently. Almost identical to the P80 process. Left the ball joint attached and removed the bearing. In fairness, I did have a helper.

Don't forget a new plastic seal between axle and bearing, this is number one why they go bad. Also grease it well with tacky marine grease.

+1 on the dust seal. And don't let the seal go askew when installing - I had one slightly off and mashed in there and it gave CV vibrations until I finally figured it out.
