1993 240 trumpet sound in dash

I think it's a vacuum leak coming from somewhere. Seems to happen under load. Any thoughts? I pulled the console but you can only see so many vacuum tubes.

When you hear the sound, what things are on? heater fan? Radio? changing vent positions?
If the dash is still out, disconnect the speedometer cable (if it has one).
Disconnect all dash wires and try a drive.

Good question. Seemingly nothing changes it, defrost, vents, radio, nothing. Happens consistently (more or less when I'm up to cruising speed then i have to give it a little more gas to climb a few miles per hour. Once I'm there, let off a bit on gas, goes away for the most part. I'll try some of your suggestions. Thanks!
