Possible to make power from a B5204FS? '94 850

Post by koralski »

Hi guys, currently rebuilding my B5204FS 850 with my dad. Are there some easy mods for extra power, even if little?

Thanks in advance,
If anyone is interested I can post pics when done.

That is the 126 HP 2.0 without a Turbo, right?

If yes, the short and honest answer is: NO!

There are 2 main issues imo, legal (what modifications are allowed etc) and the technical side... not really worth it.

Had the B5202S in an s70, so I feel you. Maybe add a short shifter if its manual, that at least makes it a bit more fun. Also metal bushings for the shift cables can help mashing gears at high rpm. God knows you need to rev that sucker so it does anything.
K&N Filter makes it sound better, might help to feel like it is faster ;)
