Crank seal install tool 9995747

Hi,

I recently purchased the crank seal install tool from VPrintsUS - https://vprintsus.etsy.com/listing/1745 ... ve-tool-pn

Can anyone provide any pointers how to use it please? My intuition is:
1. Screw the wider part of the tool into the crank.
2. Smear the seal and tool with fresh engine oil.
3. Slip the oiled seal along the shaft of the tool and the seal gets inserted into the crank seal housing to the correct depth without the spring popping out.

Is this correct?
