Howdy everyone, I'm hopping over from the P80 forums now that I've got a P1 V50 T5 AWD, and it's been super maintained except I noticed one thing under the car after purchasing. The car has the adjustable xenon headlights, however the bracket attached the control arm seems to be broken from the rear ride height sensor arm.
Has anyone had any luck fabricating a new bracket for this? Tried to search the forums but couldn't find much besides maybe drilling new holes in the lower control arm/using self tapping screws in the rivet holes. I'm having a hard time visualizing how it's supposed to look as online I can only find diagrams of the part itself not on the car, so if anyone has a photo of theirs that'd be great, as well if anyone has fabricated their own bracket, I'd love to see to get some ideas of how to approach this. Also hit the pick and pull today and checked out 4 different S40s and V50s, and wasnt able to find a replacement bracket. Thank y'all!

So it looks like you are missing a connecting arm from the dangling part to the ball knuckle to the right of it. I believe this is the part:

Sweet, thank you for this link, this is going to be useful while I wait for my DICE unit to come in the mail. I'm gonna go under the car today or tomorrow to bop around and see what I can see and try to figure out how to rig up a replacement bracket, while hoping to get the height correct of the original bracket so I mess with the neutral position of the sensor all that much. Thank you!scot850 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2025, 22:56 So it looks like you are missing a connecting arm from the dangling part to the ball knuckle to the right of it. I believe this is the part:
