I'm driving a 2014 Volvo XC90 with 193,000 miles on it. The check engine light came on, and the code reads P0430, which points to a catalytic converter issue. I found a shop that quoted around $2,500 to replace it. The car still runs well otherwise. Given the high mileage, is it worth investing in this repair, or would that money be better put toward a replacement vehicle?

If the car is running perfect with exception of this code...you can always effectively turn it into "farm car" via instalation of non fuller spacer to the rear O2 sensor. Legaly it will outlaw your car from driving on a public streets but sure will eliminate your check engine light.
