Rear door vent windows 66 122

I just bought a 66 Volvo 122 s

I was surprised to see the vent window in the rear DS door can open just like the front vent windows

The PS rear door does not have a vent window that opens

Is this OEM ? Was it only certain years ? Is it weird that only one side opens ? Has a rear door been changed ?

Maybe rear door vent on passenger side was too far for the driver to reach ?

My other 66 122 4 door does not have rear vent windows that open I don’t know how many have this rear opening vent window feature. It seems unusual to me

Many of this date ( 1966) were assembled in Canada ( AKA Volvo Canadian) Maybe this new to me one, having the auto trans, came off a Swedish assembly line ? It does say “made in Sweden “
on the serial number plate

It does not sport an “automatic” sign on the trunk lid
It does have the “Canadian” emblem on the trunk lid

Trunk lid or the emblem could have be changed ? but it is the correct colour.

Should it have the “automatic” emblem ? or the “Canadian”
Emblem ? on the trunk lid ?

Anyone else have rear ( triangular ) vent windows that open in a 122 ?

Never seen rear opening vent windows on a 120 series. Regular wind down windows yes. Like you suggest, maybe available in some markets.
