Hi!
I have managed to load my VADIS 2004 onto my new Windows 11 PC ok I have changed the default 180 and 210 days to 8000 in the .ini file and re-saved as I read some years ago but still it thinks the dates are expired when I log in....
Had anyone a method of getting This last VIDA DVD to work in this modern age 2025 with windows 11 ? Can we disable the date check somehow?
Many thanks Clan...

Do you mean Vida 2014 not 2004? I have a 2010 version but that runs on Win XP on a virtual machine.
Have you looked into the Vida section of MVS?
I recently bought a version of Vida 2014D but it runs on Win10 not 11 and Google Chrome (Boot & Co in Denver). Not sure if anyone has it running on Win11.
Neil.

I had that problem for a long time, it turned out the small battery for the BIOS was expired and couldn't charge, every time i booted up it reverted to the default factory date.clan wrote: ↑19 Nov 2025, 07:38 Hi!

When it boots vida it references the date set in BIOS first, not just windows.
Change the date in the bios and reboot to see if it stays on the new date you set.
you might need to set up a win10 virtual machine on a USB thumbdrive and set bios to boot from usb if detected .,
install vida on the usb.

I thought it would be a good idea to remove that button cell battery on my WIN 7 VIDA puter, in hope the date would remain the same. But computer didnt like that idea and took me hours to figure out how to re configure the BIOS. Ive tried loading VIDA on this WIN 10 puter but gave up.too complicated.
When i tried to run this file it came up "virus alert blocked"
Then it was cannot find monitor
