Volvo Radio Casette Plyer

Post by Rocosil »

The radio/casette player in my "93 240 wagon was long ago replaced with an after market radio/CD player. I've had the poor, homeless thing lying about for years, but I would actually have a use for it in my 142E. Is there any way it could be made to work away from the ECU, or whatever controls its functions? I have the code.

I'm not sure, but I think as long as you have the code, you can get it to work.
I learned one thing about the codes when I bought my 850. I called the dealer to find out what the code is and they gave me a code that wouldn't work. I finally found the right one in the owners manual
