Hello Forum, I have a problem in Cold wheathe Whith 99 Volvo V70, In mornig, cold wheather I start the Engine I wait to warm up. When I put it in reverse, hard noise in the transmission. I just change Trasmitio fluid do not help me with nothig I have the same problem.
Somebody knows what the Problem I will appreciate your help.

Palo Alto CA / South Bay is not really considered cold. When you say hard noise you mean it shifts hard into gear? Check for proper fluid level again.

There are a few possibilities.
1) As stated above make sure your fluid level is correct. Check the level when the engine has reached operating temperature
2) worn transmission or engine mounts. When placing the car in reverse, if either mounts are worn or bad there will be noticeable clunk. This is due to excessive drivetrain movement or gear stress when switching directions. if the noise only occurs when shifting into reverse, this is a definitely a possibility. Look for cracked mounts, dry rot or separation at mounting points.
