2003 S60R DEM replacement

Hi everyone,

Got BCM-0095 Communication between control unit Communication problems with DEM on my 2003 S60R manual. AWD works intermittently (after clearin vode) then drops out. VIDA suggests that the source is a damaged DEM

Before I go down the rebuild route, does anyone know if a DEM from a 2004 V70R is plug-and-play compatible?

I know they’re both P2 platform and Haldex Gen 2, but not sure if part numbers/software variants need to match exactly or if coding is required.

If the part numbers printed on the 2003 S60R DEM are the same as the V70R then the software and hardware should match (if neither module was re-programmed).
