Hi all - this place is great and I find myself coming here pretty much daily for info on this car.
I've been working on getting this car a bit more together lately and have a few weird things I could use some insight on.
1. I'm working on getting the VIDA software working with a spare laptop I have a built a windows 7 VM on. I also bought a Ethernet to OBDII adapter to use with this. I think ill have it fully running this weekend - not sure how much help it will be but its been a pretty fun project.
2. I still have an oil leak problem I'm going to finally tackle this weekend. I bought the seal I needed but when I started working on removing it I noticed one of the bolt heads was extremely stripped. I tried a little larger size to try and get it out with no luck. I tried chiseling a flathead pattern into it and grabbing it that way and it also didn't work. My attempt this weekend is going to be to JBweld a new bolt or nut ontop and let that sit then try to extract it that way. I bought new bolts for the replacement so now I just need to get this thing out. ill attach a picture of that too cause its a mess.
3. I notice once my car is up to temperature and I go from a stop it shifts a bit hard but only into what would be 1st. that same thing happens when I'm coming to a stop. It seems to only be when im fully at operating temp. I want to check the transmission fluid but from what I've seen online the dipstick for this you have to get to from the bottom. I currently only have some ramps and some jacks I can use but not too sure if that will be enough room. If anyone has any insight on that or how I can further investigate this I'd be interested in knowing.
Thanks as always! you guys are great!

Those small m6 bolts are tough. If the hex bit part is ruined, try an extractor socket with fluted edges thst grip on the outside.
If that won’t fit, it’s either drill it out in plsce( not fun and damage possible) or take the turbo off and deal with it on the bench
