Few questions from a new owner, 2004 XC70

Picked up a 2004 Volvo XC70, original BCM had a repair attempt and is junk, i've sourced one that's functional and correct part revision (2114) but of course it came previsioned for DTSC and my car only has TRACS -- anyone remote or in the mid Michigan area able to help correct the software on the BCM? vida2014d wont as it has no access to software downloads. Maybe some one can clone theirs with VDASH and send me a bin?

Other question i have is in regards to the SRS, currently have resistance high on left rear, where's the connector for this one? Diagrams make it seem like its under the front seat.

As for your SRS issue, I believe there is an airbag connector under the rear seat but I have no idea if that would throw any codes. You should buy a JLR Mongoose cable and get setup with VIDA. Many guides on the site here for reference.

its probably the seatbelt plug under the C pillar trim.

Where are the plugs for the front seats? I raised them up to max and studied under there with a penlight, but didn’t see anything amiss.
(I have the same ‘04)

B pillar has connector for curtain air bag, I've only seen photos.

The second row seats on P2 Volvos don't have occupant detection or seatbelt sensors but they do have the pyrotechnic pre-tensioners similar to the first row. The plugs for activating the pre-tensioners are located at the tilt pivot for the second row seats. There is a bolt securing the pivot and the plug is directly above it on both sides of the car. You have to remove the side bolsters to see the electrical connector and bolt. There is a trick for releasing the side bolsters but I can't remember it right now. I would expect that one of the pre-tensioner wires is cut or mouse chewed to give an error code.

I forgot to connect that plug after fixing the fuel pump, it set the SRS light.
