2006 V70R 6-speed on BaT this week, one-family from new

Sharing in case anyone here is interested: my father's 2006 V70R, which has been in our family since new, is currently on BaT this week. Six-speed manual, Titanium Grey over Nordkap Blue, 96k miles with documented service.

Full R spec including Four-C suspension and Brembos. East Coast undercarriage history is disclosed transparently with lift photos in the gallery. Recently serviced at a Bosch-certified shop in Sherman Oaks (belts, battery, brake fluid, alignment, fresh front tires).

They are great if you are into lots of pain! Cost of 4-C shocks, lots of electrical gremlins. It is a nice color (same as out 06 V70 AWD).

Mileage is definitely a draw for this car as is the spaceball shifter.

Personally I would have to think really hard on buying a V70R/S60R P2. Our 00 V70R is enough of a pain.

I do hope a handy enthusiast does buy this car with eyes wide open and knowing what they are getting into.
