2011 S80 ac expansion valve o ring placement

Just pulled the ac expansion valve out and can't recall if the orings on inside where the valve pulled off (not the ones on the ac lines you pull out after removing the backing plate), go directly over the ac lines coming out, or if they had to be pulled over and behind the circular stop the new valve presses up against. I thought I had to pull over the old one. Looking at it, I don't see how those would seal anything when dry fitting the new expansion valve in place now. You can see the new yellow one I put on the larger line where I pulled it up and over. Is that the correct spot? The picture ends up rotated 180 degrees. The larger one is actually on the right.

I’m pretty sure they seal against the stop boss so I think that yellow one is in th ]e wrong place. I don’t have a p3 to refer to, but may the online parts exploded diagrams will show it?

Yeah, that is the case. Thanks for replying. I figured I would know soon enough if I got it wrong. Definitely leaked from that spot. Have it at mechanic to drain out remaining refrigerant and get those o rings on in the right place. Of course now he can't get the torx screws out which I made sure not to strip out and was surprised how easily they came out and went in all things considered. Hopefully my years of AC woe are coming to an end soon.
