Car struggling to start up on a 2005 S80 Executive T6 PREMIER

Everytime I turn the ignition key start it up at first it stutters and struggles to start up the first time and the second the time I turn the key in the ignition it starts up the second time and I keep smelling gasoline coming from the back and in the front idk what is going on and what it could be and the check engine light comes the s80 runs fine and smooth and drives fine.
