Due to another AC clutch failure, I am getting ready to replace the compressor for the 6th time in my 99 S70 with 206K miles.
Does anyone have recs on an upgrade for this component. TYIA

You could move north from Georgia where it is not needed or you could rebuild the clutch. Instructions in the pdf below.

FCP euro part policy would have played well here. I’m on my second, a Nissens unit, with 260k and 8 years on it.
