Got a power system error on the V70 and red battery icon.
Codes recorded in CEM posted.
Battery voltage idling 11.4

Took a chance on a failed brush/ alternator diagnosis. Ordered new brush regulator and pulled off alternator.

Two hours to reinstall thermostat and alternator.

A long t40 bit is your friend for putting in the thermostat.
12mm hex bolts on AC, AC upper bracket, and side alternator bolt

Fussed with serp belt for 30 minutes.
Topped off coolant ajdtest druve
T55 for serp belt tension

Thank you for including the tools used in your report.

I had an odd experience removing the alternator in my 2007.
The freewheel pulley would "growl-to-a-halt" upon shutdown. Because the bearing(s) went on my 2002's at the same mileage, 151k, I decided to have my 2007's completely rebuilt.

My lower AC compressor bolts wouldn't budge. I was stumped.
I hit it with Kroil and the next day I was able to wiggle the alternator out.
It went back in and the rest of the reassembly went perfectly.
