First time post: I've had a consistent problem with my windshield wipers: they don't touch the windshield in all places. If that's not clear: When it rains, and I put on the wipers, they wipe the top of windshield (that is, they touch the windshield at the top of their arc) and the bottom, but the middle area, right in my line of sight, the wipers are just above the glass and do not wipes aways the rain, etc. I've tried putting wind foils on the wipers in order to sort of push them into place, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experienced this before? Thank you.

Get new wiper arms... range in price 40-70 bucks for each one.

You might want to try new wipers first and see if that solves the problem... then get new arms

I had just the opposite problem when I first got my 850, it would touch at the bottom but not the top. I just gently bent the wiper arm until it maintained even contact.

In my case I bent the arm down, toward the windshield, since you problem is the opposite I would assume that you would need to bend the arm out, away from the car.

The dealers have a wiper arm angle tool, either ask them to do it or "borrow" it, takes all of a minute per side.
Aligning the arms along with some new blades should get you going
