died and wont start 1991 960

"My volvo 960 automatic stopped after i was waiting at the traffic lights i went to accelerate and it conked out.And the e - w or s to w flashes as does the arrow on the dash. It wont start - its trying but wont turn over. The trans fluid is at a good level and smells fine but wont start or stay in either econony or sport. I checked the codes and they read 2-3-2 and 2-2-2. The codes mean lambda(o2sensor) error and main relay error...its done 170000km.Please help explain what you think is wrong and I will need to do. The petrol wass low but I put 10 litres or so in and it doesnt seem as if petrol is running through the hoses as a friend removed one and it was dry

What year? fuel pump relay?

yeah - i narrowed it down to the fuel pump relay and told the mechanic when I delivered it...6 hours of labour later he confirmed that was the problem so back up and running now...thanks for your reply.
