Worn Leather - Cover or Replace?

Post by v70dave »

Hello,

My '98 V70 T5 stick has 110,000 miles on it, and the wear on the leather upholstery is showing. Particulary the driver's seat and armrest, both of which may split open in the next year.

Does anyone know of aesthetically tolerable seat and armrest covers for these cars? I think redoing the upholstery will be too costly.

Many thanks,

Dave

You happen to be in the BEST area for one the best leather repair persons.
Go to: www.fabrion.net
The area franchisee (if you're in the Phila area) that it should link you to is Brian, he is THE best and can make your seats look as new for not a whole lot of money.
Tell him Jim sent you from the Volvo boards and if he's in a good mood he may do it at wholesale or at least give you a better than retail price.
Do it now, (before it becomes any worse).
You may be pleasently surprised at how little money this will cost you!
If you can't stand to look at it just sell it to me! :P
