05 ETM fit on 01 non turbo????

Hi all my very first post,

I see a used 05 non turbo ETM on ebay fairly cheap.

Will this fit on my 01 non turbo S60? Maybe a software modification to go with it?

Were the 05's ETM fixed as far as the potentiometers going south?

I seriously doubt it.
The ETM part number for an '01 is 8603653
The ETM part number for an '05 is 8677694

The software reload number for a '01 is 8645425
There is no number for an '05 software reload that I can find.

After doing some more reading here and at Vexed it looks like my 01 non-turbo S60 is stuck with the MM units. The Bosch's were only for the turbos????

Even the updated MM ETM's with the yellow labels are not doing any better???
