VOLVO 340 Stereo

Hi all

I'm new to the site and already i'm asking for advice.

I have a volvo 340 dl (british car) and have recently had the stereo removed for me. I have bought a replacement the only problem is the wiring looks nothing like the wiring on the volvo.

I only have 4 wires from the back of the stereo (speaker left, speaker right, speaker common and power) and try as i might i can't figure out which of the volvo wires joins to which of the stereo wires.

Can anybody help???

Interesting that nobody answered.

What I'd like to know, where did he have to look to find a stereo with common speaker ground. I thought those went out of style in the 70s.
